The 2,800-square-foot studio features a newly installed LED Surface semi-daylight space with northern exposures, and a wide 3-wall cyc, providing an ideal setting for photography and video capture alike. The shoot featured iconic supermodels like Gisele Bündchen, Candice Swanepoel, and Naomi Campbell, highlighting the studio’s capacity to accommodate high-profile, large-scale productions. British Vogue’s September 2023 cover shoot, featuring Christy Turlington, Cindy Crawford, Linda Evangelista, and Naomi Campbell, took place at Pier59 Studios in Studio 6 and Stage C. Studio 6 is a 2,500-square-foot columnless western daylight cyc studio, complete with a skylight and an airwall that allows for seamless expansion into adjacent spaces. Stage C, a 6,500-square-foot blackout space, boasts the largest cyc in Manhattan, along with motorized grids for rigging and Virtual Production capabilities. Photographer Rafael Pavarotti and stylist Edward Enninful led the team in creating an iconic production within these versatile, state-of-the-art spaces.
